This manual has been prepared to assist you in the proper break-in, daily care, and operation ol your new Ford 8000 Tractor. It contains specific information on the many built-in features of the tractor, the accessories and options that are available, general specifications of the tractor, safety precautions, and instructions for making minor adjustments. To keep your tractor in “ready to go condition”, it is important to follow regularly scheduled service periods as
recommended in this manual. The information herein applies to the Ford 8000 Row Crop and All Purpose Tractors. Where differences*exist, specific information is presented for each model. The Row Crop Tractor with the wide adjustable front axle can be converted to the shorter wheelbase All Purpose Tractor by reversing the center section of the front axle. The All Purpose Tractor can also be converted to the longer wheelbase Row Crop Tractor.
